Whether you visit the mission during the annual Christy Homecoming or drop by some other time, you will find this a fascinating stop.
Around 40 fans of Christy visited the Christy Mission on July 24. Tourism Director Linda Lewanski, Council Chair Brenda Schultz and Artist Marie Bittinger welcomed the group, along with Christy Mission's Larry and Karen
Myers.

They were part of Christyfest - a celebration for those that love Christy. The visitors were served lemonade and cornbread and toured the O'Teale cabin with Larry Myers as a guide. Karen displayed a chair with a kudzu seat and several of Flora Corn (Fairlight's) quilts.

A good time was had by all. Christy fans, I think thee will do!!!
