 The Original SUV
Wayne D'Agostino of Chattanooga TN explained to us how this 1937 Model 70 Hudson Terraplane was actually the first SUV. It featured removable rear seats, and a removable rear panel between the passenger compartment and trunk so that it could be converted from a car to a truck. Sounds like a commercial we've seen a lot lately.
 There were even protective panels that could be snapped into place to protect the interior trim and upholstery while hauling cargo.
